Why is Jora closing?
We've made the difficult decision to discontinue Jora's services in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
This wasn't an easy decision, but we believe it's the right step for our business moving forward. Thank you for trusting Jora in your job search.
When exactly will Jora close?
Jora will officially close in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Singapore on 9th September 2026. After this date, the platform will no longer be accessible from these countries.
Will Jora still operate in other countries?
Yes, moving forward Jora will only operate in Australia.
Where should I go now to search for jobs?
Jora partners with Jobstreet, Jobsdb and SEEK in these markets. All the jobs that were previously on Jora are now accessible there.

Your account
What happens to my Jora account?
Your account will remain active until 9th September 2026. After this date, you will no longer be able to log into Jora Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore, or access your account information on those sites. For New Zealand users, your login credentials will allow you to log into Jora Australia.
What will happen to my personal data?
After 9th September 2026, data stored in your Jora account will be removed and deleted. For users in New Zealand, your data will still be available, and you can access your account via Jora Australia.
Will my job alerts stop?
Yes, all job alerts will stop after 10th August 2026.
What happens to my saved jobs?
Your saved jobs will no longer be accessible after 9th September 2026. If you have jobs saved that you're interested in, we recommend applying before the closure date or noting down the company and role details.
Can you move all my data across to SEEK, Jobsdb or Jobstreet?
Jora’s platform is independent of these partner sites. As such we are unable to migrate any data across for you.
Your Application
Can I still apply for jobs until the closure date?
Yes! You can continue searching and applying for jobs on Jora until 9th September 2026. We encourage you to keep pursuing opportunities while the platform is still available.
What happens to my job applications?
Your applications will remain with the employers you've applied to. However, after 9th September 2026, you won't be able to track or view your application history through Jora. We recommend keeping your own records of where you've applied.
Should I save my application history?
Yes, we strongly recommend taking note of the jobs you've applied to, including company names, job titles, and any reference numbers. This will help you follow up with employers directly if needed.
